Random Captures

Since one of my favorite pass times is taking candid photographs, I found the events scheduled for Rochester's 150th birthday a perfect opportunity to practice my hobby. This particular day many people had been invited to attend the ceremonies/events of the day. Some who were attending were there because of their age (longest living person in the town), others because they were part of reenactment troops and some because they were vendors of some sort. At any rate, a perfect time to take candid photos.

Events like this are something like Mekka for a photgrapher. I love the decision to use monochrome - it's like time travel with a camera. The stills are amazing!

Thanks Leon, as you can see I've been busy. Next will be hippy days, those I probably will have to leave in color since we know hippy and colorful go hand in hand 😀
