All these images are trophy club- #27 was my favorite however. Moving bird shots in my experience are pot luck shots! The only way Ive ever had a decent photo of a bird in flight was through a camera "burst" followed by careful weeding through the shots for the best one. Is that skill... well if you dont tell! LOL.

A friend sent me this text today  " The great French innovator and photographer, Felix Nadar who seemed to see into the hearts and minds of his sitters, said "there is no such thing as artistic photography, in photography,
like all things, there are people who can see and other who cannot even look."
I believe this also holds true when it comes to skill " there are those who have the skill to do burst shots and weed through for the best and then there are those who have no clue what a burst shot is let alone weeding" You, my friend not only have the skill but also the "eye" as proven by your posts smile

What a great set of photos, Camellia. And like you, my birds in flight photos really need work - although I must say that the ones you posted here were pretty darn good! I really like your slow speed to capture #18 (wonderful photo!!) and #27 made me smile. The toad looks some old man with a contented smile resting on a branch. Thanks for this post, I enjoyed it very much.

Thank you so much for your comments. I am glad you enjoyed these photos. I got lucky on some and others....well just worked out. I truly love the toad one because it is exactly as you described it, an old contented man, plus the fact that we don't have these kind of frogs around here and I am always fascinated by them when I see them in photos.
