Grayest Day

by Camellia Staab February. 07, 2020 497 views

We had our first real snow fall this week, Wednesday to be exact. But before this white stuff falling from the sky day, we had temperatures in the 60's. Naturally one has to take advantage of the springy weather and go out.

Out I did!

But even though it was warm and pleasant there was no sun.

Actually, it was the grayest day ever.

But when has that stopped anyone from taking photos?

These two flew in squabbling. Probably arguing as to who should be first in the formation.

Looks a lot like here, gray and sometimes a tiny bit of sun.

Thanks. The truth for that day's venture..... I saw a post from the park stating that the black winged geese were all congregated in the park and getting ready to fly out, so I thought it would be a great opportunity to capture them. When I got there not one goose to be seen, so naturally I had shoot whatever came in my view smile

I find that gray days provide different shooting opportunities which may not necessarily be inferior to those found on sunny days.

Thank you Abigail. These benches are found all over this park,. Each one of them dedicated to someone's loved one. Hence why the park is called Lincoln Memorial Park. And on a day like this one they do stand out smile
