Forsaken (part 2)

You might think four hours in one location would be plenty of time to capture everything, but I must say, it was not. There is so much to see. This particular building is almost 5 stories high, that's counting the crawl space and the attic on top of the attic where the bell sits.

Each of us in the group took a couple of hundred photos and very few had identical captures.

That you can say is the beauty of photography......

"No two eyes see alike".

Wow! Four hours does not seem like enough! This must have been overwhelming to say the least. I am looking forward to revisiting these tomorrow (up past my bedtime tonight, unfortunately). There are so many crazy details and unexpected things- like #13! Thank you for sharing these.

I agree with the crazy details, laying around. I did not take pictures but there were TV and various sound systems and just so many other stuff that could have been easily removed....why they were left behind is unknown.

My kind of stuff!  That newel post is to die for, likewise the carvings on the pews.  Great you got access but what waste of a building!

I still find it mysterious to have just left everything in place & abandoned....Great details and camera work!

You and me both Jay...why not clean up at least. But we will never know why it was left in such shambles.

I'll bet there was something to do with disgruntled employees or some kind of "dust up",....

Clear crisp creative images! Were all of these taken in a forsaken church?

Thank you. Actually no, #4-12 are in the church, the randoms from across the different floors. Truth be known I took 300 photos that day....these are just a sample of 60. "Trigger Happy girl"😁
