Twirling Away

Decided to play with the twirl filter in Photoshop again. Took a picture of a smal stained glass window and came up with the following abstract.

The last one is my favorite. But I did learn from Enrico Sottocorna, from his blog post here, that the Affinity app can also produce this type of abstract. He has spent most of the quarantine time learning his way around the app. I looked at the site and learned that the app has a 90 day free trial. Therefor, I downloaded it and will try learning some of its tricks.

Ciao Camelia, mi piace molto questo effetto di esplosione di colori e composizione, penso che stampate su Plexiglas siano delle bellissime immagini di arredamento, per dare colore alla casa. Un bel lavoro di ricerca di novità fotografica e post. smile+1

I tried experimenting last night with a similiar process in Photoshop ans posted it (I gave you credit for the idea) but I love your results much more 🙏🌷

Well worth the money right now. I know you like Topaz, and Affinity does have a learning curve, but there are tons of tutorials out there now.
