Phase four (Revitalization) of the Covid-19 safety guidelines took into effect in our State last Friday, while part of Florida and Texas decided it was time to revert back due to the number of people who became infected in their States.
For me it was an opportunity to do some street photography since I had not been out and about in a long long time.
In my mind what better place to do some street photography but the Saturday weekly farmer's market downtown. So with camera in hand, off I went.
The market is definitely not set up the way it used to be. Only vendors who actually have had a hand in the growth/production of their merchandise could attend.
Therefore, way less vendors.
Of course those who attended had to follow the 6 feet apart rules.
1) No touching of any kind!
Meaning you may not touch the fruit or veggies prior to purchasing. Point to what you want and the vendor will bag it for you.
2) Face masks required while walking around.
This is an outdoor event, but to ensure safety, face masks were recommended.
3) Walk in this direction (somehow walk like an Egyptian comes to my mind).
Arrows were drawn on the ground to show pedestrians which directions they should enter and exit from.
You get the idea.....lots of restrictions.
But thankfully no restrictions as far as photography.

And this is our version of Aldous Huxley's "Our Brave New World."
Love the series!Lots of variety, colors and clarity!
