The use of a tripod was the challenge for this week. But really, using a tripod is not much of a challenge. I would say carrying the tripod everywhere is more of a challenge than the use, but I went ahead and complied.
Instead of just using a tripod I decided to up the challenge for myself and use an ND filter and capture some flowing water. As you know the use of an ND filter gives the option of dropping down the shutter speed and when you drop down the shutter speed you definitely need a tripod unless you have the steadiest hands ever.......I don't.

When you drop the shutter speed you get the water to look blurry. So I played with the f/stop and ND filter to get that look.

Then I noticed that the 52 frame challenge also had a extra credit for this week, which required making a composite.
Someone brought me some red chili peppers, ergo I decide to do some focus stacking photos with the peppers.

I took 20 photos for each lay out and stacked them in Photoshop. And so this concluded week 39 of the 52frame challenge.
Love the chillies. It was worth the effort. Time now to make the sweet chilli dipping sauce.
Thanks Gethin. You got a good recipe?
Sorry I only made it once years ago so I don't have the recipe. It's funny how you become immune to chilli heat the more you use chillies. I find I use way more than I used to and I order hotter curries too, the ones that come with whole green chillies in.
Gethin, no worries. I have found that my taste buds when it comes to heat have really changed. I like my food my hotter than there rest of the gang that lives here, so I always have to be double careful not to get carried away when cooking.
