Nature

This week's 52 frame challenge.

After the rain the birds all congregated under one our house windows looking for food.

The Blue jays, kept turning each leaf looking for that worm.

After the Blue jays disappeared, this huge woodpecker flew into our window and sat on sill pecking the glass. By the time I got my camera set, he flew out and landed on the fence. I still took a photo even though the distance was far.

Then I thought I saw him fly into the tree, so I followed. But it turned out not to be the same bird.

Don't let your eyes fool you Jay, that is cement under that water. Question is who cleared it so the water would be reflective, not me that's for sure smile

Ohhhhhhhhh.......OK.......
I was wondering why would someone want to soak their feet while sitting on a public bench?

Nice work! Those 3 of my favorite birds! Blue Jays, Wood Peckers & Cardinals. Do you have Mocking birds around there too?

I believe we do Jay but I am not good at differentiating between birds unless they have a distinct color or mark. To me they look like chickadees , that look like a sparrow, that look like....you get the idea smile

Thank you Chuck. Someone around here found a blue jay feather and posted a photo. I have never seen a feather fall off of a Blue jay before. Believe me that would be one feather would love to have in my possession. They really are beautiful birds.
