It's time to finish these series on Chicago.
That doesn't mean I am no longer going up there. Nor does it mean that I no longer will take photos there.
It just means I feel the need to wrap this one up so as to move forward with other photos captured since the last time I traveled to Chicago.
In my mind, what better way to conclude this series than with some evening/night time photos of some parts of this 234 mi² city and its people.
Very nice night photography. I find shooting at night challenging but has the potential to yield some great images.
Agreed. Especially the need for a tripod, puts me off. But I really do like it when I end up with a nice image of sparkling lights and all. 
Great series. Really atmospheric. It's only just dawned on me that to do night photography of course you need to be somewhere that already has a lot of light, like a city, seems obvious. But didn't seem obvious to me until I now live somewhere so dark that if you step outside you can't see your feet.
Thanks. Sadly one of the MAJOR requirements is.... light. Every tutorial one watches, first thing they point out is mastering "The Light" Go figure!😏

Thank you Russ. I actually have never been up there for St. Pat because down here ( before Covid) has been a lot of fun. But I have heard that the "green" flows through everything

Thanks Peter....there's always more series on Chicago because it is a city that has so much to offer. But I am one who feels they have to "finish" something before starting something else. Photos from my last trip have been sitting there waiting to be processed but I was not able to touch because this series was open. I am sure Freud would have a hay day with me
