An Alien Amongst Us

Tis the season to play with stuff I have in the house.

Therefore macro, still life, food photography all have placed themselves in the forefront.

This particular photo came about from the stash of dandelions, (yes I have a saved a few, from before they all disappeared, for days likes these) some water droplets and the macro lens.😊

Oh that's gorgeous. And you have to go to F11 to get it all in focus?

Thank you Paul. I have added a Teleconverter to this lens, hence it has added a couple  f stops and moved from 2.8 to 4.0. I like f/11 for two reasons. A while back I learned if you use f/11 and direct the light (speedlight) using a flashbender, you can get 1) sharp images and 2) create the "invisible black backdrop without the need of any other props. So I find myself using f/11 a lot  smile

Thanks. And the TC is why the EXIF is showing 150mm?
