#2 Worked out nicely #4 is quite abstract but none the less cool

#2 the bead is clear because I focused on the bead. #4 not sure what happened whether I thought I was focusing  on the beads and missed, ( I can do manual and auto simultaneously on this lens)

That is a feature that I have grown to love. I only have one lens for the Canon that can do that and that is the 150-600 but the two lenses for the Olympus have that ability and it makes life easier to me.

Quite stunning, very clever to have the idea and deliver on it. I am familiar with water beads, we used to put some in jars and display them.

Why not your macro lens though?

Because initially I was planning to meet the 52 frame extra credit challenge...shooting at f/1.4 (one of my 50mm has that) but after playing around and switching lenses and etc. I forgot all where "I was going". Looks like my next play with be with the macro smile

Excellent! #4 is my fave, the bokeh is really cool, it transforms the glass balls into marbles.smile

Thanks. I also think the variety in the colors makes it pop more.

This is something I use quite a lot. In nature and on the street. Makes your subject stand out. Love the creativity here and the colors, yes I do like colors. You are probably my fav colorgirl.Where did you find these marbles.

Thanks Peter. These are not marbles, they are the coolest things which I had no clue of until I saw a video. Here they are called "Water Beads" they are tiny little dots (if you may  for a lack of a better word) that grow big in water. I didn't buy 1000 pounds of it but here's a link so you can see what they are.

I have no idea why my "links" are now 50 pages long.
(Edit)
Stubborn as I am found how to shorten the link

but didn't want to erase the above in case you thought that I was getting close and closer to being committed to the mental health hospitalgrinning

This is quite the interesting prop. I think I like #4 best probably because the marbles stand out from the background the best. In #3 the reflections on the right look like lp's to me.

I like #4 better too because of exactly what you said, I just wish that the beads refraction were as clear as the others. Probably has to do with how I focused.
