The Chase and the Peck

by Camellia Staab May. 04, 2021 445 views

It was a two on one situation, with one flying here and there, while the other two chased.

One of them gave up so then there was just the two of them.

Actually, it was more than a peck...it was more like jab, jab, jab.

Guess Spring's in the air!

So cool. Love the sequence. And I've noticed you are getting better in what concerns taking bird pictures

It is a hit and miss thing. The set up really needs to be on a tripod because the lens is quite heavy, especially when extended all the way out. But I don't have a permanent area to set up and leave, hence all shot are hand held.....that's when it becomes a hit and miss smile

Great shots and fun commentary. I really like the close shots at the end that captures some personality.

I was surprised to see the blue in the eye lid. Things one sees when one pays attention smile

You certainly captured some sweet, intimate moments there. The expression on that bird says it all.
