Illinois State Fair 2021 (part two)

by Camellia Staab August. 22, 2021 375 views

If you go to the State Fair you are not going to just watch the performers and the judging or even the animals, you are going to eat your way through the fair while people watching as well.

Since captions no longer work, I am just going to do my commentaries here and there. The above photo was taken in particular for a Pb patron who enjoys grilling Ribeyes on his newly acquired grill. You know who you are GT 😁

Shall we have a race????

Howdy Doody taking a ride.

Abe's back !😉

Foot long corn dogs are the best!

The treasured "Butter Cow" sculpture, marking the 100th year of the unofficial Illinois tradition, has been a highly photographed object at the fair. This year's theme is " Embracing Tradition". The sculpture is made from 500 pound of unsalted butter and has historically taken about five days to complete.

Smile you're on Candid Camera !

What are these "cleaning crew" looking at?

Stay tuned......

It's always like that Leon. I look at other people's shots from our night at the fair and think "wish I had caught that one or the other one". Guess we will have to wait until next year smile

I saw the tattoo from a distance and could not tell what it was. I ended standing in line in this tent ( they were giving away freebie crap) just so I could get close enough to figure out what she had. The hours it must have taken to have this done.🙄
