I got an email from the place I bought this [photoblog.com], saying most items off 75% to move inventory. Since I always like a bargain, I went. Wouldn't it figure that the item I liked wasn't on sale? It was the tackiest thing I had perhaps ever seen. But there was no way I could leave it in the store. It had to come home with me. Face aglow, as a light was shining onto the face, real hair (or real doll hair) and real satin to make a pillow and a blankie. It had a surreal, eerie feel to it, all crusted in decades of dirt and dust. Who knows how long it set in someone's basement. But it had the feel of something off of The Twilight Zone set. Adam wanted to cover it up, certainly not display it. He teased that the baby would come to life and say, “Better be good to me, or you will come to a bad end!!”
Would You Take This Baby Home With You?
