I stopped at the nearby Middle Eastern market for some harissa and came upon this sign. This was where one could get the most delicious malteds. That was years ago. You can barely make out the sign.
But with just a few swipes, I can make the same shot 25 years younger when Dolly’s was still open for business. I can taste that coffee malted through that straw.....
