As I was sitting on my back porch enjoying the warm weather, I noticed the leaves falling down from the big oak tree.
The thought occurred to me that I should try to capture the leaves falling.
One more good wind storm or heavy rain like last night and the leaves will be all on the ground.
Not sure about other photographers who have tried this, but I found it quite challenging to capture a leave in midair.
Most trees were I live are mesquite trees and they do not have leaves per say.
The above photo shows a mesquite tree, the oak tree was behind me.
I had my camera pointing up, as the wind was blowing against my back, so I thought that would be the best way to try and capture the leaves.
Tricky part was trying to follow the path of the leave and shoot at the same time
My neighbors probably were wondering what is this guy doing?
All I have to say is ...
Leaves are so much easier to capture with a camera on the ground!
