A hungry heron on the move around my pond

Admittingly, I love to manipulate digital images and create something totally different than what I captured with my camera.

There are times that I just let go and just experiment with my camera settings and photo editors, ( I have several) which by the way I am trying to learn as well.

The above picture was shot with a setting that produced a pencil drawing effect.

I have been struggling to find that one photo editor that I can settle down with and learn well.

There are a few photo editors that I have come to like, one is relatively easy to learn and was very happy with it until recently, when it just crashed and has been given me headaches ever since.

So I decided to try another photo editor with a much steeper learning curve, so I just put my toes in the water so to speak.

Just a few adjustments with the basics, I added a LUT because I liked the effect it produced.

Photo editing is fun, yet challenging and there are so many photo editors on the market it makes my head spin.

The photo editor I used for this photo was Affinity Photo

Affinity Photo is a great editor and tremendous value. It's my primary editor.

I agree Benny!

Once I get the hang of it I think I will do fine.  I am not the most tech savvy individual, but I really like this editor.
