My dog Cisco has one priority in the winter, to stay warm at all times.
If the outside temperature (or inside temperature for that matter) goes below seventy five degrees Fahrenheit, Cisco will shake and shiver.
This dog has set the Guinness book world of records for holding his morning business just to stay warm.
Sometimes, Cisco thinks he can become invisible and thinks I do not see him when I get up in the mornings.
When Cisco hears the word "Outside" or "Potty" he pretends he's a Possum and will lay as still and motionless as possible.
Cisco has the uncanny ability to override his natural doggy functions for very long periods of time in order to stay warm, no matter what!
And when Cisco feels himself being levitated from the comfort of his warm blanket, another transformation occurs.
Again, just a survival mechanism, but Cisco becomes (in his doggy mind) the "Incredible Doggy Hulk" and tries his best to show me his super powers!
You would think that Cisco was walking the "Green Mile"!
And before you can even close the door, Cisco is back in the house, his tiny feet moving a mile a minute, barely getting traction on the kitchen floor.
And with a blink of an eye, Cisco with one quick leap onto the couch, and like an Olympic Gymnast who sticks a perfect ten after his dismount, finds himself warm and snug onto his favorite pillow!
