Gigi and Finn (Cat Royalty)

Ninety nine percent of my clients are dog owners, but I do have a few clients who are owners of the feline type.

Cat's are a totally different vibe and they are the ones who run the show ..

The two cats that I am currently caring for this week are a Chartreux breed.

It took a couple of days for Gigi and Finn to warm up to me.

Soon Gigi was rubbing against my leg and allowing me to brush her as I gave her some very tasty morsels as a treat.

Finn would cautiously approach and then quickly run past me to get to his food.

Eventually as Finn sat comfortably high on his cat perch I made my move ..

The brush was just too much to resist and in record time Finn was purring and demanding more with each stroke of the brush.

These two are quite the characters when it comes to play time and I enjoy watching them.

Today was the day that Gigi used her cat powers to inform me that she and Finn had a discussion and decided to allow me the privilege of taking photographs of them to share with the rest of the world.

Gigi also informed me that the litter box was not up to their standards that I needed to clean it before thinking about any photo session.

I was told to make it quick as they had some serious napping on the schedule for today ..

I quickly grabbed my camera and decided to photograph Finn first ..

Too late, Finn gave me that look, like you had your chance and yawned as he closed his eyes for his scheduled nap time.

So I turned my attention towards Gigi who was fading fast and dared me to try to engage her with a look so full of royalty I actually asked her for permission once more.

With a big yawn and stretch she said "Make it Quick"

I felt blessed!

#1I like this shot a lot. It is the fact that you have to look twice in this ‘normal house’ setting to see the cat. Great picture!

You caught their expressions perfectly! Coincidently, I visited my mother last week and she being a cat person, has two cats that I
of course took photos of and was meaning to post, but have not gotten around. I am a dog person, but because a kid in our house, wanted a cat 😉we also had a cat who lived to be 14 years old in house with big/small dogs. They are definitely unique creatures. Everything has to be on their terms or else...... Love the eyes in #3.
