Canterbury - February 2017

A few days in Canterbury over the half term break. Good to finally see the Cathedral's great south transept window back in place and with all of the scaffolding removed. The east end is now looking clean and gleaming after the restoration and cleaning which has been taking place over the last decade. Also details from a new window commissioned from the Cathedral stained glass workshop for The Church of the Incarnation in Dallas. Vivid and bright images based on the Cathedral's Redemption window, c1200. Old and new - living heritage.
