I was finding it hard to figure out what to write about this morning. So many ideas going through my mind that it is hard to pinpoint a main subject. BUT! here we are.

During my trip to the Philippines. I was able to visit Calauit Safari. One must travel through land and water to get there. The getting there by itself is quit the adventure.

Once off the bus that will take you from the dock to the actual safari area, you are greeted by a sight that looks similar to an African safari (not that I have seen them in person). There are plenty of trees and it is green everywhere. The animals are free to roam around.

Some of the zebras are roaming around, others are resting under the tree while others are eating some grass. Visitors are accompanied by their guides for safety. Among all the animals here, I would say that the giraffes are my favorite.

One of the activities that they offer here for visitors is the chance to feed the giraffe. Not gonna lie, I was quite hesitant because we just do not normally do this. Also, not to mention how this animal is much bigger than I am! It turns out, I ended up loving feeding these giants.

This was quite an experience, and it is something that I would do again in a heartbeat when given the chance. Who would have thought that these giraffes are as gentle as can be!—Claire
