GCRN Ruddington

I first visited the Great Central Railway - Nottingham formally known as the Nottingham Transport Heritage Centre back in the summer of 2010, at that time I didn't realise the significance of where I was or the importance of the type of access that I was allowed, and the only camera that I had at the time was on my phone (at this point in my life I can admit taking snapshots was really all my photography was about).

On learning that I was going to get a second chance this year and having now been using a DSLR for nearly 3 years my excitement was off the chart ever since I'd started to take photography seriously back in 2013 I'd been waiting fro my chance to go back and here it was.

On the particular day we went they were running  HST Intercity 125 Prototype.

Great photos. I love the low angle in no.3. I can never resist this sort of subject :-)

#3 You have good instincts to get down low and seek
out interesting perspectives. Nice one!
