I love these pics (all of yours) and life in Newfoundland. Only been to Cartwright, not St Johns unfortunately. Most of my Canadian work was Yellownife or north (in Winter), Brutal for a poor little Australian. Cartwright fascinated me as the accents sounded more similar to Australia, I was confused. I have seen enough of Canada to know that if I couldn't live in Australia Canada would do! Used to go to a Mining conference in Toronto every early March. A Canadian mate always took me to a Leafs game if on (he was an Oilers fan, go figure), and late at night I would watch the Briar on TV! Who would have thought that rock sweeping would be such an awesome sport - I am serious, I miss it! Even did the Rideu Canal in Ottawa with a coffee and a BeaverTail, I fell over 36 times (Aussies never learned to Ice Skate!). Anyhow, thanks so much, I love looking at your images of life in St John's.

Thanks Brett!!!
I have a few friends in Australia; it's on my bucket list of places to visit.  Beautiful country too.
