Teotihuacan (Piramides)

ohhh so much to walk through

i felt out of shape because i was getting tired at every step and gasping for air at every stop on the Pyramid of the Sun!
it was the altitude of Mexico… it HAD to be!! <_>
well anyways, i was able to see and appreciate so much more!
the last time i came was like 9 years ago and everything was kind of a blur… i mean, i liked it THEN, so i doubly liked it this time.

the only sad part was that i only bought 1 pen as a souvenir… hoorah.

we're here!! we're here!!
i see iiiiit…. *.*

shops are opening, but i have not time to diddly daddle!!

*adverts eyes to structure*

i see people!! on the top! they are like tiny ants climbing up there and walking around!

Mirna puts on her serious face to prepare for the trek up those steep-looking steps

i can see LA Piramide de la Luna

these people are joining our journey up the large stone-steps… after i took a long breather… IS THE AIR GETTING THINNER?!

halllooo ppl down ovar thaaar

hee hee, mom and dad stayed behind for a longer break…

i just keep going higher and higher, but i don't seem to reach the top!! ;_;

FINALLY!! Look at the WORLD!!

“we did it guys!!”

i feel satisfied…

hee hee, the Piramide de la Luna seems so tiny!!
…maybe i'll go climb that one too!

the journey down is MUCH easier
and Elias is flexing his bod to show how he has conquered the flight of stairs

Isaac thinks it's better to think deeply about this work-out more than flaunt his success… =P

ohhh yeah! i'm getting there! the pyramid of the moon!

oh detour!
nice snake-head to sit on and THEN to my second journey!!

well that was a breeze!!
these stairs were like twice as steep and taller and for some reason, you are only allowed to climb only half-way… the rest is blocked off…
i wonder what happened…

Mirna and my other fellow Moon-pyramid climbers

and OFF to the far end of the land to go see the ruins of the serpent-head temples

Elias and Isaac sitting on the mini-ruins…. they came back saying that the temple of Serpent-heads was closed and they were remodeling or something like that =*(

we catch up with Dad and Mom and wait for Elias so we can all go SHAAAWWWWPING!!

Mom buys a little something for Midori back at Tia Isaiah's home…

people are STILL climbing up that piramide and i know why they'd do it again, too… =)

What did you carry in your right hand to the top to charge your energy? Or maybe you didn't fall for that tale that was being told. I've climbed to the top, ONCE. Very exhausting, but worthwhile.

OH and btw, I love the pictures. They bring back memories and I want to cryyyy... maybe that's why I was all grouchy pointing out your flaws, I'm sorry =*(

dude, you're such a gringa... it's "LA" piramide, not "EL" piramide

AND there's an accent on the "a" except I can't do it now because I'm using the laptop.

You crazy American kids =P
