Blue Flames

I had done this back in the 10th grade, but this is so much cooler now- i have a camera! :D

Ok, the lighting begins!!

and it's a success!! yaaay~

whoa! we opened too much and the flame got big- we're supposed to be trying to get a lone blue flame not half blue and yellow!

okay, we got it to have less luminonous flame, but we're not quite there yet

now that's what I'M talking about! look at that awesome light-blue cone inside the flame!

the first experiment is to heat an evaporating dish

so we wait (me and my cool goggles ;D)

now the next experiment; timing how long non-luminous flames take to boil x amount of water

(we just wait again)

My lab partners have found the solution!!

It is way better than a 10th grade education because it is not taught by TInajero!!! Didn't we do this lab together back in the day?
