Water Treatment

so much stuff- i had no idea how everything kept running, but it did and i'm glad. they supply water all over town! that's what professionals are for!

I had Cinthia follow me to the plant because she counted on me to remember the directions!!

And we were there before we could say spunkerdooleronihorfwafas (with your mouth full of popcorn of course)

The first thing visible are these huge blue tanks!

We all had to wear our labcoats to make it official

Our presentor was Mr. Pacheco (YES Mr. Pacheco like the same last name as Rio Pacheco -aka Jerrica's boyfriend!! lol …i am crazy)

Water gets filtered by going through billions of these little white tubes (and this is only ONE of the steps in cleaning the water)

After telling us how it's done, he shows us where all the pumps and tubes actually are.

The water resevoir. This is a bunch of water that needs to be re-cleaned because it wasn't super clean after the whole cleaning process. It's like a waiting room i would say.

clearly dirty

more facts come our way

Ms. Lastierre makes a funny face because there was a swampy smell around the exhaust

and now we're going to see one of the tanks from the inside!

i might faaaall!!

into the dark, dark tank…

a 22ft tall tank full to the brim! i don't know how many gallons, but this thing is holding a whole bunch!

water comes in through a few of these

ready to go? no not yet, there's one more thing he has to show us.

lol i thought it said “SCUBA” at first…

surveillance of the tanks and all that jazz
