My husband spontaneously decided to take me out for some gelato last night and on our way the last cold front of the season, allegedly, rolled through. Thankfully, I had my camera in hand for some experimental shots. See, I've always loved photographing rain drops, especially at night. Something about the way light bokeh's and muddles together through the water makes everything seem more dreamy I suppose. So I went at it last night!

One of my first shots. From here I took off.

I started focusing on recognizable objects to see what kind of results I would get.

to see if some things would still be recognizable.

This is a Trader Joe's for example.

and this is popular local restaurant.

There wasn't much too it but an enjoyable experience. Something about the images is soothing to me. Hopefully some of you feel the same way.
