Well I've trawled through thousands of pictures this morning looking for the one that goes with these. Me n Mum hiding in the grass. Can't find it anywhere. This is Mum when she was just a bit younger than I am now. These Hills are where me n Pea used to go walking on Sundays with my Dad while Mum cooked Sunday Lunch. I was about 26 when I took these. We went for a picnic. I remember the feeling of that day quite well. It was warm and summer breezy and peaceful with larks and buzzing insects and feeling nostalgic because every curve and hollow, every tree and hedgerow is burnt into my…. into me perhaps. The trees looked the same but I'm guessing they've grown in step with me.
Determination. I trawled another 45 minutes and found it. Time for Tea.
