Two years ago Tomorrow

Found this and …..
I was looking after my mum. I got a lurgy and made a bed up downstairs so she wouldn't be lonely. I remember it was very challenging looking after her (See Texts to Pea [mumblog.posterous.com]) with a lurgy.
I like this picture though it makes me sad. I like the blurriness and the noise. As if the image is fading like the memory.

i can feel the sadness seeping out of this grainy shot. like a memory one would want to be relieved of, yet it is frozen into your mind and will come back to you any unexpected time. i hope you will always be able to deal with it, one way or the other, since such memories are WORTH to be had, always. :-)

I like the blurriness too. today is the anniversary of the day my father-in -law passed away (6 years ago). thank goodness for memories and pictures. tomorrw we will go out to hunt for our Christmas tree, have a tailgater and build a fire. I think this was one of Del's favorite traditions and he would be happy to know we are now sharing this with our grandson. I agree with Jackie about the similarity of your shot with the photo by the photographer Virginia Beaham. Capturing everyday life.....

This is a really good representation of that time, Carol, I like it too. It reminds me very much of PHotographs from Home.

Went and looked at your other blog. It must be so difficult. My mom died 2 years ago but she was as sharp as a tack. I don't know if that made it better or not.
