Mum and Lovely Bish on Brighton Pier

by Carole Gledhill January. 25, 2013 3282 views

May have already posted this but what the hell, I still like it. Took this first time mid 80's and the second time off the wall at the home when I went to visit Mum ages ago..
Bish was her best friend and a lovely lovely man. I miss him now n then. He was a prankster. Got my mum to phone Buckingham Palace once and ask for Liz. Her name is Ann.

Got the sobbing blues today. I like a good sob now n then. Been listening to this [] repeatedly for a while. Feel much better now. Life eh? in the words of my dead friend Phil:
“what's that all about?”

Great post! There is a line in a Bob Dylan song that I believe goes "Brighton girls are like the moon"! Thought you should know!

i dig this. been on the sobby side a lot lately, too. probably not having the same reasons like you, but who cares? it's winter and cold and times are hard and you just made me smile using the only tactics i effectively know myself in the face of "la vie terroir", by putting up a funny silly pic.

so, in the words of my good old german school friend stefan who died in an accident when we both were 18:
"Besser arm dran als Arm ab."
