Mr C

Hmmmm not quite got back into the swing. This is a few months old. We had fish n chips n a beer on the sea front that day. Was just about warm enough.

So nice to get such a warm welcome from old friends here. I haven't answered all the comments yet but I hope I will.
Have been posting a lot on Instagram lately and I find I'm not so particular about what I post there. Often care so little for the images as images that I delete the originals once they are up there. Looking for something to post here and I find I don't have many images that fit my criteria for posting here. Not that I know what they are but….

and p.s., i totally second the instagram effect. since i've posted there (and stopped, while moved on to eyeem), the stuff i put on PB just has become a different quality. i usually sift through my archives and chose a picture only when i find some "meaning" to it, something that is more than just stupid stream of consciousness. when i finally noticed what i am doing there on IG, how little meaning it has, i stopped posting. i'm about to stop posting on eyeem now, too. probably will make another attempt on PB... simply because seize of community doesn't matter, it's the things you can do here, the opportunity for real exchange that only happens when you offer something, something more and different than a billion flies on these global monster systems.

either this or the internet will fail.

ha ha... I know what you mean about Instagram... I gave it up for that reason, it was sort of embarrassing the lack of quality of the things I threw out there! THIS on the other hand is a terrific portrait of your friend!

This portrait is a very good and quite interesting, one would like to know what he is thinking or looking at. And also what is to be seen behind the man awakes my interest as ... that couple close to him, the couple near the water and those birds ... Yes Carole, a very good shot indeed if you ask me.
And the mono works perfect!
