Kyoto, day 6

by Caroline Killmer April. 23, 2005 655 views

Our last day, we went to an indigo workshop and talked to the sweet young guy whose father and grandfather (and so on) handed the craft down to him.

Stray cats flitted around the garden. Nothing was in the indigo vats at that particular moment.

Indigo is a strange substance. Gloopy on the surface.

We stayed at an inn with a sweet little garden off the room.
