Tomorrow morning, Irelands analogue (i.e. aerial tv) will be turned off for good. It's the end of an era!! From now on, it's all digital. This is my little tv - I bought it when I moved out of my parents house to Dublin in 1998. Since then it's shown me many things using a bunny-ear aerial so I wanted to dedicate todays photo to the traditional tv (even with it's static and snow!)
This photo was actually taken in pitch darkness (on bulb setting) and then I darted around with the screen-light of my phone, lighting the various areas I wanted to be visible. And then at the end I added some streaks using the phone to show the life bubbling out of the tv.. wierd I know! ;)
