Drops... Day 38

by Loren Knoppi February. 08, 2017 1079 views

Well again I waited until the last minute! But, I have been busy... I have been playing with a free copy of Adobe Illustrator to see what it does since it will unlock a font I have with all the hidden special characters and letters.  I've been building a header/logo for my blog.

I got to visit with a friend I haven't seen in a couple of weeks and we were discussing business and work plans... some great ideas!

Then that made me remember something I had been planning to do each time I go out in the summer and take photos of flowers. I keep planning on taking a spray bottle of water with me so I can have "dew" on command.

Do the Dew...

I used the flowers from my bouquet last week and the large ceramic tile as a background. A few spritz and then having to battle a cat, Atticus, who keeps stealing the flowers to give them to Henna!

Just a tad to the right...

It's not easy being green...

The first image is the best, the colors and warm tones along with the dew really make it. And what a great idea to use a spray bottle! I have to try that some time :)

Thank you Maura! Yes, I figured taking a water bottle helped me get those few drops for when I did not arrive early enough. It also allows me to make emergency sugar water for bees when I come across one that needs some help.

What a lovely idea - the droplets give the flower such a delightful sparkle. Beautiful photos
