Accepting Color - Red

This week in Adventures in Seeing, one of the choices was to photograph things for their color. We were to photograph close-up blocking out the item and just getting the color. Then, download the pictures and accept what you see.

This is not a gentle week but I am accepting it just for what it is. I am moving, once again, so I have a lot of things lying around waiting to be packed or gifted. It probably is not the best time for me to try to photograph detailed, clear, in focus pictures so the color assignment was something to which I became open. I looked around my living and dining rooms and saw some items that might be good to photograph as abstracts but not as in focus pictures.

I was pleasantly surprised when I downloaded the pictures but I must admit that I did a little cropping and adjusting, but basically the pictures above are true to what I saw and what the camera recorded. No major manipulations or filters were used to obtain the result.

Well, I took advantage of the distraction and feel better for it but now I must get back to working on sorting and packing.
