His training was in fine arts and industrial design, and as said, he grew up in a family of artists. His mother was an art teacher, and his aunt and uncle were painters. He designed menswear and had his own label in the 1990s then launched the Kenneth Cole menswear collection afterwards.
You can see a design of a cow print worn loosely, as casual wear, by a model, a very brilliant style. Saldanha’s grandfather was passionate and dedicated to his craft and taught his grandson techniques with making posters. He also loved his grandsons textile designs. Saldanha did a lot of tropical prints on anything, interiors, menswear, T-shirts. His grandfather’s legacy inspired Saldanha him with a vision of a wide world of art and beauty. He follows the steps of the French architect Le Corbusier, an advocater of art and architecture.
