October 5, 2019. The Spanish actress Azucena de la Fuente has been chosen to be the Cultural Ambassador of the LUKAS Awards held on the 6th of November at the Bloomsbury Ballroom in London in the United Kingdom.
The Spanish nominees are: in the category of Contribution to the Arts, Cinema, best film "Pain and Glory" by Pedro Almodóvar, "Everyone knows" by Asghar Farhadi, "The Kingdom" by Rodrigo Sorogoyen, "Yuli" by Icíar Bollaín.
In Theater "Ay, Carmela" by J. Sanchís Sinisterra directed by Paula Paz. “Yerma” by F. García Lorca directed by Jorge de Juan. "The eyes of the night" by Paloma Pedrero. Leyre Berrocal is nominated as performer of the year. Within the Dance category, the nominee is the show "Shadows" by Sara Baras. Sevillian Israel Galván is nominated as an international dance artist (flamenco).
In the Music category, the Spanish nominee is Rosalia as the international artist of the year. In the Sports category Pep Guardiola is nominated as manager of the year and Rafa Nadal as international sports personality of the year. Other international nominees are: Daddy Yankee, JLo, Luis Fonsi, Maluma, or Mark Anthony.
Azucena de la Fuente, recently awarded the Orion Star Award for Best International Fashion Actress where she came to represent Spain to establish cultural connections with Morocco, will go on this occasion to London to establish links with all Latin American countries, Brazil, Portugal, Spain and the United Kingdom itself, where he has been invited to give a conference at the Congress of Women Leaders and Businesswomen to be held on November 7.
