More amazing work from Robert Elswitt. In this scene from Micheal Clayton, Elswitt again meticulously composes this climatic shot when Clooney's character destroys Tilda Swinton's (kneeling in the background) life and career with a recording proving she swindled and murdered her way to the "top". The shallow depth of field keeps Clooney's enraged but triumphant mug in focus, but keeps the background barely clear enough to know the damage has been done to Swinton's character.
