Speaking last year at Holocaust memorial, at site where the Crimean Jews, including Krimchaki Jews, were murdered.

R' Lipszyc lighting the public menorah. The Byeli Dom (White House) is in the background.

Helping children, on a trip.

Leah (back, rt.) with a group of girls and women she took to the holy sites in Ukraine.

Praying with other women at the grave of the holy Baal ShemTov, founder of the Chassidic movement.

Our school, Bais Menachem, in Simferopol.

Rabbi Lipszyc, helping a young man say “Kaddish,” the mourner's prayer, for his mother, OBM.

The young man on the left is an orphan, who lived in our home, till (in this picture) we sent him to learn further in Israel. He later married, and came back to Simferopol to help us with our work.

With a friendly policeman in Sevastopol.

At a conference in Yalta.

Sometimes we are able to send young people to camp or schools in America. The girl on the right is one of them. The girl on the left is a counselor.

R' Lipszyc took a group of students on a tour after their summer program. Here they are in the Jewish Children's Museum, in NY.

Here we are with some of the guests who spent the week of Pesach with us.

Summer camp.

With a wonderful elderly woman in our community.

One of our students came back from Israel to visit. Now he is married to a former teacher in our school. (See 29)

At a bris ceremony. (Sorry – poor photo of an old phot.) Unable to perform circumcisions during communism, we arrange them for young and old.

With three of the girls who lived with us.

Plans for the synagogue that we want to build. We have the land, but not the finances…
