Icy Waters

I took the Amtrak train from NY to Montreal last week, and will post more pics, but in keeping with this week's theme of ICE…. We rode past the Hudson, Lake Champlain, and many other bodies of water. In one place the ice was so thick people had set up huts and were ice fishing, then the ice was breakig apart in huge chunks, and a few miles farther the water was flowing unhindered. On the way back, it was already slushy! All were taken from the moving train….
