Security guards at an entrance to the old city.

Ancient walls

Window shopping

At the top of this piece is a silver cup upon which the head of the house recites “kiddush,” a prayer on wine to hallow the Shabbos. When he pours it into the center, the wine falls into the little cups, so each family member and guest will get a sip.

Entrance to the Kotel HaMaaravi or Western/Wailing Wall

Near the Kotel before daybreak.

Underground tunnels in the Kotel complex.

View from my granddaughter's apartment. Judean hills in the distance. Just about every house has a solar water heater on the roof.

Cats were brought to Israel to get rid of mice.

Back in the Mamilla Mall.

Beautiful shots. This is one of the cities I have always wanted to visit. Is the last one the Wailing Wall?
