Total Immersion

At the Kinus HaShluchos, the international convention of women Chabad emissaries, I attended a fascinating workshop teaching us how to help women overcome aquaphobia, in order to immerse in the Mikvah. This shot was taken near the entrance, looking down the steps to a very pleasant waiting area.

Through immersion in a kosher Mikvah, each woman can link herself to an ongoing tradition that has spanned the generations. Through mikvah she brings herself in immediate contact with the source of life, purity, and holiness – with the G‑d who surrounds her and is within her always.

This state of the art mikvah has a choice of lighting and soft piped in music available.
