Living and Breathing Scattergood

This Saturday, student ambassadors joined Scattergood farmers Mark Quee and Dana Foster and 50 plus people to learn about the lastest PFI research on cover crops, sweet potatoes and asparagus.
With approximately 10 acres of IDALS-certified organic gardens and orchards and about 30 acres of pastures, we grass-finish beef and lamb, raise a few heritage breed Guinea hogs as well as a small flock of turkeys, occasional broiler flocks, and a laying flock of about 100 chickens.
