Lumbering Mass - that's my first impression. But the first thing that really hit you is the stink!

#1 A light snooze in the sun before lunch.

#2 Taken through a bush, the grass helps frame this rhino taking a drink. The shimmering circular pattern of water provides added interest.

#3 A variation of the above picture.

For #2, looking thru the grass gives me a sense of being there looking at the Rhino. Thus such vewing exp coming from a photo enriches the photo appreciation experience. IMHO. :-)

Aaron, Andrew - interesting...2 points of view. Does the leaves (actually they are grass), enhance the image by giving you a sense of the environment besides framing the main subject OR are they a distraction? I will leave it to you to decide :)

I like #2. Watching the rhino thru the leaves gives a good viewing exp. Great shot!
