In and around Marina Square on a Sunday morning...

The sun was up, I was up and everybody else was asleep….so what better to do then to pick up my gear, dash downstairs and in 2 minutes I was in the train to Marina Square for 2 hours of shooting. The light was great and it suited my kind of photography.

#1 The morning light cast deep shadows and I was lucky to capture the shadow of this couple as they stroll along the sea front.

#2 The curves of the steps together with the deep shadows cast by the morning light caught my attention in this shot.

#3 As I exit the train station, the shadows cast on the wall of the mall caught my attention.

#4 More shadow work…

#5 A giant portrait of a “rock star”

#6 This very active boy was playing under the bridge across the Singapore River.

#7 A cleaner working hard to keep Singapore clean.

#8 The aftermath of a night of cheers and tears.

#9 Reflections off puddles of water on road barriers.

#10 These are not bamboo poles but dismantled road barriers soon to be put up for the F1 race.

#11 I haven't tried the BBQ here but maybe the owner will appreciate this free advert and offer me a free meal :)

#12 10% discount card?
