Little India Again

Little India in the late afternoon light is a joy to behold for photographers who enjoy working with shadow and light.

#1 The frontage of this colorful building is literally lighted up by the late afternoon light.

#2 The combination of colors and shapes make this picture very interesting for me.

#3 The slats of the window cast interesting patterns on the colorful walls.

#4 Here, the light is more subtle but not any less delightful.

#5 A place to relax and have interesting conversations. I use the bright wall to create and frame the silhouette of the man on the right while the details of man on the left is left intact.

#6 Nothing like a listening ear from a friend over a cuppa for comfort.

#7 But things can turn nasty if the drinks flow too freely,

#8 The almost similar picture as #5 but given black and white treatment.

#9 Me and my shadow - a mynah admiring his own shadow.

#10 King of the roof tiles.

#11 Here birdy birdy …come to mommy….

#12 Me and my almost-twin brother.

#13 Chilling out…

#14 I was attracted to the deep shadows and strong contrast of this scene. The characters in the picture have very strong and interesting features.

#15 Gone bananas!…
