Day one - Preparing our gardens

I am so excited that I am home just in time to see my tulips bloom and my bushes. This is day one of getting our yard in shape for the summer. My husband has cleaned up the pond and is experimenting with it, and our gazebo is up. Now I have to get all the lawn furniture out, plant some bulbs in my planters and position them just so through out the property. I have grown to love planting in pots because I can move them around and I don't have to weed them.

Pots are a great way to plant, I agree. I love the tulips, just bought some yellow ones myself yesterday... grown by someone else! :-)

For some reason I thought you lived in an apartment. Oh well. I've always wanted a pond. Great shots.
