Taughannock Falls - Trumansburg, New York

This falls is in Cayuga Lake, which is one of the Finger Lakes. The falls is located about an hour from where I live in Upstate New York.

In nice weather you can walk this trail to the bottom of the falls. It is a pleasant walk.

This is at the beginning of the path to the bottom of the falls, we can not go today, because it is still Spring, so it's too dangerous.

This bridge is down the creek, a little ways from the scene above.

We are now going to the top of the falls.

From this point of view we can see it all.

Let's walk down this beautiful stone stairway.

Let's enjoy the flowers along the way that are on the embankment.

This is a nice little sitting area for people to take in all the beauty.

Here is a pretty flowering tree that hangs over the cliff.

A view into the gorge.

Another view into the gorge.

This is the bridge that is part of the trail below.

This is the stopping place to admire the falls from below.

This is the entry to the falls.

Are you prepared to see the falls now?

Now I want to take you to the Inn next door.

The following pictures contain some facts about the falls.

Thanks for the tour. I loved the photos of teh falls.

It's been several years since I've been in that area. We used to go to Ithica to eat at Moosewood Restaurant.
