Wasn't it only yesterday, when I rode my bike alongside my 5 year old son, as he peddled away on his Big Wheel.
In a few short days I will watch him walk the stage for his diploma. This summer is my husband's 25 year high school, and next year is mine. It is an incredible thing to raise a child in such a short time.
I want to wish you a happy and wonderful experience at college, and a safe and healthy time there. May God grant you mercy and favor as you grow in wisdom and knowledge. Live life cautiously, yet courageously at the same time. Be smart in your choice of friends and activities. At college you will face many decisions, some of your decisions will have a lasting impact way beyond these few semesters.
Your father and I hope and pray the very best for you through all your days on earth, cherish each one. There is only one person who will ever fill your shoes. We love you.
