12 men in a log cabin, by George!

by Cathrine Stewart September. 27, 2008 4994 views

On my walk recently at Valley Forge Park, I came across these log cabins that were used during the American revolutionary war. The information posted stated that 12 men stayed in each log cabin. Obviously, space was not an issue. I know that the men were extremely cold, but, I wonder if sleeping so many in one little space helped to keep them warmer than they would have been if they had say- two per cabin.
